For over a decade, Packer and adidas have been the dynamic duo, consistently infusing fresh energy into the footwear scene through their collaborative efforts. In 2023, they dropped the futuristic Crazy IIInfinity and brought back the FYW Intimidation in a special collaboration. Now, as the FYW Intimidation celebrates its 25th anniversary, Packer and adidas are reigniting the hype by reintroducing the sneaker's lesser seen low top version.
Just over a month ago, Victor Kan from Packer dropped a hint on Instagram, flaunting the Intimidation Low like a proud parent. After the 2023 comeback of its mid top sibling, the low top is sliding back into the spotlight with two bold colourways: “Cyan Blue” and “Anthracite.” We're talking gradient overlays, a trademark TPU cage, and the cushy adiPRENE+ sole.
This latest drop serves as a natural successor to Packer’s adidas Intimidation capsule from May 2023. The New Jersey based retailer’s new release highlights two fresh takes on the low top version, a silhouette that has flown under the radar compared to its mid-cut counterpart. The updated design leans closer to the Adidas KB3 than the sneaker’s original 1999 tooling, giving it a refined aesthetic reminiscent of the Intimidation inspired YEEZY 500.
Both colourways offer distinct looks. The “Anthracite” features a smart, blacked out TPU cage and midsole, giving it a stealthy design. Meanwhile, the “Cyan Blue” stands out with a soothing gradient mesh base complemented by cream and brown accents for a more dynamic character.
For those eager to cop a pair, the Packer x adidas Intimidation Low releases on 20th December, available exclusively through Packer’s in store and online channels.
