While no confirmation has been given on the Patta x New Balance 991v2 that is reportedly dropping this week, the skateboarding icon has more than made up for it with this latest release. In collaboration with KAPPA, the duo has prepared an iconic selection of apparel for none other than the Alpine F1 team for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Off the back of Netflix's hit Drive to Survive series, Formula 1 has been thrust firmly back into the limelight as of late, ushering in a new wave of hardcore fans. Looking to embrace the sport and its aesthetic, KAPPA and Palace are now set to deliver a unique collaboration made for both drivers and fanatics.
The capsule collection consists of a total of ten pieces. Included, we see a rain jacket, gilets, body warmers, pit shorts, tracksuits, tech polos, hoodies, tees and even New Era 9FIFTY driver caps. Donning an array of race-ready prints, patterns and embroideries, each piece firmly captures the stylistic nuances of the sport.
To accompany the apparel, KAPPA and Palace have also designed an A523 livery specifically for Alpine's car as well as the official team suits for drivers Pierre Gasley and Esteban Ocon.
For those looking to get their hands on any of this collection, it will first launch at The Venetian Shop in Las Vegas on November 16, followed by a worldwide online drop on the 17th of November via Palace's official webstore. Up next, Percival x Champion continue their collaborative relationship with ‘The Fruit Stand’ capsule.
