Like the adidas Yung-1, most dad sneakers tend to go for a more retro aesthetic, however, the Nike M2K Tekno opts for a more futuristic vibe. A lesson in sneaker styling, this chunky crep first dropped in April, and now it's getting a red hot makeover.
A modernised take on the legendary Nike Monarch, this Paris-inspired colourway features an upper painted in a primarily black shade. Tonal branding is abundant on the shoe's upper, with a vertical logo hit on the tongue, as well as three Swooshes appearing on the lateral side of the midfoot and the bottom of the throat. A bold blues plastic heel piece adds subtle contrast to the vibrant shoe, and the look is completed with a classic Monarch midsole which is touched up with a dash of red.
Slated to drop sometime this very soon, this Nike M2K Tekno is a must cop shoe for any sneaker collection. In related news, the Nike HyperAdapt 2.0 is set to get a much wider release and an affordable price.
