Patta Set to Make 'Waves' with Nike Mercurial Collab Dropping Spring 2026

Patta’s no stranger to making noise on and off the pitch. Now, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ on the horizon, Patta’s back and this time lacing up something special for the pitch: a Mercurial “Waves” capsule that’s primed to stir up the game.

Whilst nothing has been officially confirmed yet, Patta has long had a connection with football. Co-founders Guillaume "Gee" Schmidt and Edson Sabajo have leveraged their relationship with Nike, Inc. over the last few years to celebrate and if we hope to see the Netherlands step out in these for kick-off.

Recently leaked across social media in two standout silhouettes, the Patta x Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 White Waves and Patta x Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 White Waves stay true to Patta’s DNA.

The iconic Patta Wave makes a return across both pairs, a classic nod to the previously released Patta x Nike Air Max 1 collection.

The headline feature is that signature curved mudguard, complete with a miniature Swoosh on the lateral forefoot, wrapping around a mixed‑material, sock‑like upper built for speed and performance on the pitch.

We rate the use of Patta branding across the whole shoe. Patta’s stamp shows up on the insoles and underfoot, surrounded by slick touches of iridescence that catch the light just right.

Whilst we don't have any additional information to share, we think the collab has a strong chance of releasing a few weeks before the World Cup kicks off this summer.
