It's been a busy few months for Patta. Since the start of May, the brand has linked up with C.P. Company, joined forces for a Gaza relief shirt, touched base with Peter Angelo Simon for a Muhammed Ali inspired capsule and then collaborated for a collection with Sebago. However, it seems the Amsterdam based brand is keen on continuing on its upward trajectory with its latest collaboration arriving with the famed revolutionary artist, Emory Douglas.
For the unfamiliar, Emory Douglas played a key role in the Black Panther Party from 1969 to the 1980s. His vision was quickly drawn to graphic design and eventually, Emory was responsible for The Black Panther's visual identity. Over the years Emory turned down many offers to commodify his work but has since decided to work with Patta as the two held the same beliefs.
Spanning across a hoodie, T-Shirt, coach jacket, sports cap and wallet, each piece of the collection features a graphic that tells an important story, with key slogans such as "All Power To The People" & "Dare To Struggle! Dare To Win!" displayed respectively.
The collection is set to drop June 18th and will be available via Patta's webstore! In other news, block out the haters with Supreme's spring 2021 sunglasses collection.
