Patta and Joe Freshgoods finally put a clothing line together, and frankly, the competition needs to pay attention. Following the previous, successful Vegas pop up, the two independent, Black owned powerhouses return to introduce “PattaGoods,” the duo’s debut apparel capsule. This is not just another collaboration; these brands are making a statement.
The inspiration for this partnership comes straight from the pavement. Both Patta and Joe Freshgoods built the collection on a shared respect for their respective communities. Joe confirmed the project works to "bridge Chicago and Amsterdam," connecting the two cities that shaped the design language of both creative forces.
The creative team shot the accompanying campaign on Chicago’s historic South Side, using the First Presbyterian Church as its setting. We love how the campaign visuals deliberately reference 1970s youth programmes and classic community graphics.
The campaign features the incredible Soul Children of Chicago choir, who perform 'Lift Every Voice and Sing,' anchoring the entire project in history and hope.
Consumers will find practical, everyday garments making up the collection. Shoppers can expect essential wardrobe additions, including a varsity jacket, jogging bottoms, denim, caps, mesh jerseys, tees, and long sleeves.
If you want a piece of this legacy, note the release schedule now. Patta Amsterdam will launch early access on 3rd December. The full collection will drop online and hit the London and Milano Patta stores on 5th December. Joe Freshgoods’ Chicago shop will be receiving the line on 6th December.
