Peep an Official Look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Africa"
The Air Jordan 1 has seen its fair share of colourways and themes over the years, which goes to prove it’s a perfect canvas for experimentation and expression. The latest Air Jordan 1 Mid “Africa” is no different, with the AJ1 silhouette becoming the canvas for a celebration of the continent, conveyed across rich earthy-red tones, a mix of textures and the silhouette of the continent on the heel.

Although not much is known about the real inspiration or story behind the sneaker at this point in time, the “Africa” Air Jordan 1 is still quite a spectacle. Sitting atop a burgundy tumbled leather base, each colour and textured overlay will more than likely tell a story. Done up in vibrant hues, the mix of reds, pinks and oranges could easily allude to desert tones or sunsets over the savannah, whilst various overlays and panels take on cracked leather and elephant skin-like textures. Of course, the AJ1 Mid “Africa” is finished with a sweeping Nike Swoosh that comes in white cracked leather, and a white midsole that comes dipped in a burgundy outsole.
