Peep The Swarovski Crystal Details on These New Air Force 1s

We’ve seen a couple of Nike and Swarovski collabs over the years, but now the Oregon-based brand have teamed up with the crystal experts to give the humble Air Force 1 a luxury upgrade. Appearing in both "Triple White" and "Triple Black" colourways, the women’s-exclusive Swarovski Air Force 1 has been given some sparkly detailing, with over 228 crystals elevating the everyday classic into high-fashion territory.

Starting with a premium leather Air Force 1 base, the show is stolen by the crystal-studded patterned overlays and Nike Swoosh, which give the classic sneaker some serious Avant-garde vibes. Depending on how extra you’re feeling, the layered panels can be removed via a Nike branded screwdriver (included in the pack, of course) for more or less coverage, and even removed altogether.

Nike describe the Swarovski AF1s as being "inspired by road reflectors," and note that the measured light reflection across the crystals returns light for added visibility in the dark. That being said, we’re not sure we’d like to be caught out in the dark wearing £400 shoes, so maybe keep them in a display case ready for a special occasion.
