We love a good AJ5 colourway. A silhouette that has been around for thirty years, its design has remained more-or-less unchanged since its on-court debut back in 1990. After taking our best look yet at the Air Jordan 5 "Top 3" last week, we're now getting a sneak peek at the Air Jordan 5 "Alternate Grape" thanks to these on-foot images from sneaker insider @hanzuying!

Sharing the same colour palette as the legendary "Black Grape" as well as the Fresh Prince-approved version, the "Alternate Grape" is decked out in bold purple suede across its upper with black mesh panelling across the lateral and medial side panels. "New Emerald" accents make their way to the tongue and toggle system, referencing the aforementioned Fresh Prince colourway from 2018.

Moving down, you'll find a stealthy Nike Air midsole for comfort and cushioning that's off the charts both on and off the court. To round it all off, it's lined with an icy blue rubber outsole, finalising the design.

At this moment in time, the Nike Air Jordan 5 "Alternate Grape" is set to drop on June 27th, however this is subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic that's sweeping the world right now.
