Pharrell's Next Trainer Is Here, and It's Quicker Than You Think

Pharrell Williams always seems to be everywhere at once during Paris Fashion Week. While everyone focuses on his work with Louis Vuitton, the creative force also consistently puts in the hours with his long standing partners over at adidas.

Following on from the excitement around the Adistar Jellyfish and last year's ultra exclusive Adizero Adios Pro EVO 2, Pharrell returns to the running trainer world. That limited edition release, which made headlines for its price tag and scarcity, now paves the way for a brand new collaboration on the Adizero EVO SL.

This time, Pharrell and adidas Running present two new versions of the Adizero EVO SL. The familiar "Earth" colour scheme makes an appearance once more, with its characteristic brown, blue, and green stripes accentuating both a classic "Footwear White" and a darker "Core Black" base. The Humanrace project retains all the performance features that make the EVO SL a top choice for runners. The shoe features a lightweight, padded upper that encourages airflow, while LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam provides plenty of energy return underfoot. Its unique rocker geometry also helps to push you forward with every stride. Pharrell's signature touch is subtle; the only explicit branding you will find is the Humanrace wordmark printed on the sockliner.
