After Yeat sent the internet into a frenzy by flexing a mystery silhouette in his latest music video, the speculation skyrocketed. Was it a fragment design leak? No. It’s the Air Liquid Max, and it looks heavily inspired by the Amazon rainforest.

While we first caught a glimpse of these on Yeat’s feet, sparking weeks of "ID on these?" comments, it was followed by Hiroshi Fujiwara pouring fuel on the fire with those fragment collab teasers. Now, the official word is out: this is the signature model for 26th March.
Nike took a "less is more" approach here, stripping away the bulk to see how little material a human actually needs to stay off the pavement.
The Air Liquid Max uses point loaded distribution. It’s technical, it’s stripped back, and it certainly is innovative.
The upper doesn't just look strange for the sake of it. The designers looked at the poison dart frog; an animal that uses bright patterns to tell predators to back off.
Honestly, £185 is a steep ask for a mesh runner. But in a market saturated with "vintage" re-releases and endless beige, this is the first time in while an Air Max Day drop has actually felt dangerous.
