This week, US-based sneaker brand Saucony re-released the PoGrid Ride 1, a shoe that first hit the market back in 2008. The shoe’s designers took cues from the archive model, mirroring its chunky silhouette and design codes, but updated it with a breathable open-mesh upper, hexagonal mesh construction and reflective metallic overlays.

The shoe dropped in a limited-edition Buttercup yellow colourway, which would add a pop of colour to any outfit, while a version with subtle red accents also appeared in the campaign imagery. And thanks to ProGrid technology – which provides responsive shock absorption and support – the shoes are as comfortable as they are stylable.
The ProGrid Ride 1 marks the latest addition to Saucony’s growing archive series, with further colourways slated to arrive later this summer.
