Like the adidas Originals Yung-1, most dad sneakers tend to go for a more retro aesthetic, however, the PUMA Thunder opts for a more futuristic vibe. A lesson in unique sneaker styling, this chunky crep first dropped in May, and is now getting its very own collaboration with UK retailer END.
Dubbed the Thunder Shadow Rise, this chunky shoe combines black nubuck and leather with a stacked white sole underfoot. The perfect setting for dual-branding, the pull tab and cork footbed find light in the shadows, with earthy wooden suedes and concrete leather overlays wrapping around the heel. An extension of the IMEVA cushioned midsole, a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole takes the sneaker to new heights.
Set to release on October 20th, let us know what you think of the PUMA Thunder Shadow Rise down in the comments section below! In related news, PUMA and Pepsi have teamed up for a refreshing Suede collaboration.
