In the spirit of high fashion, PUMA and Balmain have come together for their first collection – designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing and his friend, British supermodel Cara Delevingne. Her debut collection with the brand, Delevingne has been working with the brand for years supporting friend Rihanna's collection and featuring in campaigns.
Bridging the gap between sports and fashion, the collection is inspired by tradition boxing kit. In a rich colour palette with flashes of regal gold, the collection is set to be sole in PUMA stores, online and even in some Balmain boutiques. Rousteing said about the collection, “Cara is a good friend, and this is the fruit of a shared vision. Everyone involved was determined to create something timeless.”
Dropping on 21st November, the PUMA x Balmain collection is a step forward for the athleisurewear trend. Elevating high-street sportswear to luxury status, each and every piece is made to make a statement on and off the runway.
