PUMA is the king of unconventional collabs. After teaming up with Polaroid and Hasbro, the German sneaker giant has now tapped Mattel for a Hot Wheels themed collaboration, and it's nostalgic to say the least.
Celebrating the toy brand's 50th anniversary, the collection sees three versions of the RS-X sneaker inspired by different models from the Hot Wheels archive. As well as the 'Bone Shaker' model, which comes dressed in black and gold, the pack features a bright orange RS-X as a nod to the 1968 Camaro custom edition. The third sneaker in the capsule features a blue upper, and is inspired by the first collection of Hot Wheels die-cast cars, known as the 'Original Sweet 16' collection.
Set to release on November 15th, let us know what you think of the PUMA x Hot Wheels RS-X collab down in the comments below! In related news, PUMA recently unveiled the RS-X Reinvention silhouette.
