Release Reminder: Don't Miss the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Prototype"!

The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Prototype" has got to be one of the most exciting AJ1s to drop this season, and we'll explain why in a bit. First announced back in June as part of Jordan Brand's Fall 2021 Retro Collection, it's now ready to drop tomorrow on September 30th at Nike UK!

Crafted from a wide range of premium materials, some sneakerheads have pointed out that this Air Jordan 1 features a palette that's similar to the recent Space Jam: A New Legacy film, and we can see it. With blue tones surrounding the ankle and black and grey hues adorning the heel, this all works on top of a crisp white base. A Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels with contrast stitching for a sartorial effect.

We haven't even got to the exciting part of this Nike shoe yet. If you look closely around the ankle you'll see a series of subtle indentations that tell you where to snip. This means that this AJ1 is made to be transformed from a High to a Low. It's definitely a cool idea, but there's no way to attach the ankle back, so the change will be irreversible.
