Ever seen a sneaker inspired by a tree? Not just any tree, but the ancient, ever symbolic olive. For their latest drop, END. and Saucony dig deep into nature's archives, unearthing the olive tree as muse for a duo of refined runners that speak volumes about legacy, endurance, and lowkey flex.
As part of END.'s 20th anniversary celebrations, the retailer returns to its longstanding partnership with Saucony. Following last year's loch legend "Nessie" collab, they've now gone Mediterranean. The result? A ProGrid Omni 9 and a Shadow 6000, both reworked in earthy palettes of olive green and clean white, rooted in the enduring symbolism of peace, vitality, and culture.
Let’s talk ProGrid Omni 9 first. This one’s for the modernists: a reissued Y2K performance silhouette with all the hallmarks of dad shoe swagger, now remixed with textured mesh, olive hits across the outsole and branding, and an embroidered olive branch tucked on the inner wall. It is part nostalgia, part new era athleisure, and all comfort. Just mind the firmer midsole if you're used to more forgiving race foams out there.
The Shadow 6000, meanwhile, plays the retro card beautifully. Deep olive suede, smooth and hairy, meets bright white midsoles and laces. That same olive emblem appears again, subtle but symbolic. This one leans into lifestyle heritage, a classic born in 1991 with cult status intact thanks to its plush ride and ageless styling. Think your favourite Y2K runner but with more Mediterranean flair.
With price points at £160 for the Omni 9 and £140 for the Shadow, this drop isn't just storytelling for the sake of it. It is wearable art backed by design history. Available via END. Launches on 15th September 2025 and hitting shelves from the 19th, these pairs will be exclusive to END. online and in their flagship stores across Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Milan.
Whether you're in it for the symbolism, the silhouettes, or just the seriously clean colourways, this drop proves that when END. and Saucony link up, they do not just make sneakers. They plant legacies. Find out where you can buy the collaboration by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
