Those familiar with Manchester's own Represent will know the brand has no qualms with embracing its love for rock 'n' roll. Having previously collaborated with the likes of Megadeath and Ozzy Osbourne, Represent is now looking to expand and continue its heavy music-inspired offerings with none other than late '80s icons Mötley Crüe.
Known for such songs as "Kickstart My Heart," "Shout At The Devil," and "Girls, Girls, Girls," heavy metal band Mötley Crüe became iconic in the rock 'n' roll scene during the late '80s thanks to its catchy anthems and no f*cks given attitude off stage, firmly cementing its place in rock 'n' roll history.
Now some years on, Represent x Mötley Crüe have joined forces for a dynamic apparel collection celebrating the distinctive aesthetic formed by the band. Spanning 11 pieces total, this collection makes way to statement graphics across tees, hoodies, shorts and tank tops. Taking inspiration from iconic Mötley Crüe album artwork, namely the 1989 record Dr Feelgood & 1987’s Girls, Girls, Girls, the collection pairs the band's iconic motifs with Represent's knack for creating relaxed silhouettes.
Represent x Mötley Crüe will launch worldwide on the Represent website on Wednesday, 19th April, at 20:00 BST. For any LA-based fans, the collection will also be available in a pop-up in the Viper Room, Los Angeles, from 10 am-3 pm PST. In other fashion news, MKI continues to push the boundaries with its 800 GSM superweight collection.
