Rapper J.Cole is returning to the basketball courts with the J. Cole x PUMA RS-Dreamer “Blood, Sweat and Tears” in a crimson-red colourway that’s bound to get sneakerheads and hip-hop fans hyped up once again.
You’ll remember the hitmaker dropped his debut RS-Dreamer PUMA Hoops collaboration back in July and that was a sell-out hit for the German sneaker brand, so we’re not surprised the duo are teaming up again for a hot new colourway! The PUMA RS-Dreamer “Blood, Sweat and Tears,” fuses J.Cole’s laid back hip hop swag with PUMA’s classic basketball shoes and is inspired by the grit and determination needed to smash it on the mic or the basketball courts.
With the RS-Dreamer “Blood, Sweat and Tears”, PUMA has taken one of their most iconic running shoes and adapted it for the basketball court. Bold red hues cover the uppers with a red mesh and suede construction, while contrasting tones of white and grey line the collar and outsole.
Continuing the contrasting theme is a white rope detailing that snakes around the sneakers and staying true to J.Cole’s relentless hustle, the Dreamer logo is embossed on the heel in white too. Midsoles feature a mash-up of foams including the PUMA RS-style running shoe foam and the basketball-specific ProFoam for a comfortable hybrid cushioning.
After J.Cole shared a sneak peek of his latest “Blood, Sweat and Tears” sneakers, they’ve already been seen on the NBA courts with Kyle Kuzma and WNBA athletes like Skylar Diggins-Smith flexing in a pair. Can we expect the rapper himself to rock these new kicks if he ends up trying out for the Detroit Pistons too?
Pay homage to the rapper’s grind and cop The J. Cole x PUMA RS-Dreamer “Blood, Sweat and Tears” when they drop exclusively via PUMA.com and Foot Locker on a release date of August 17th. After his first PUMA collaboration sold out in minutes, this new red colourway will be released in limited quantities so make sure to hit that push notification and be first in line to cop! In other basketball sneaker news, the Air Jordan Alternate Bel-Air is finally dropping this weekend!
