The legendary Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 is celebrating its twentieth birthday this year, and just as it was hitting shelves back in 1999, Sneakersnstuff was also setting up shop in Stockholm, Sweden. To celebrate this happy coincidence, SNS has teased a special colourway that's the perfect way to commemorate these massive milestones.
Painted in a combination of grey, blue, and yellow, this retro palette takes inspiration from an unreleased prototype colourway. Smooth and fuzzy suede hits the lateral and medial sides respectively, while the tongue is fashioned from corduroy for a tastefully vintage vibe. This is scrawled with a "Since 1999"; graphic, and finalised by a tiny Swoosh at the toe box.
If you're interested in the Sneakersnstuff x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4, you've got to listen up. Obviously a collaboration of this calibre is going to be extremely limited. In fact, it's limited to just 1999 pairs worldwide, with each one individually numbered around the heel.
Scheduled to release at Sneakersnstuff's web store and in-store in Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles on September 19th, if you want to take a glimpse at the hotly anticipated shoe, it'll be on display at all SNS stores from September 11th. Will you be trying to cop these? Let us know what you're thinking, and keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the latest and greatest news in the world of sneakers!
