Continuing its ongoing collaborative partnership with Nike, Social Status has set to work on the Air Max Penny 2, another retro basketball silhouette. Titled the “Playground” collection, this release is essentially a sequel to the Air Max Penny 1 pack that launched earlier this year. The sneakers come in two colourways that both consist of hits of black, white and blue, with details aplenty throughout the designs. Range-specific Penny Hardaway branding features across both pairs, along with pull tabs at the heel and tongue, miniature sneaker hangtags and Air Max cushioning under the heel. =

The sneakers will also come complete in retro-style packaging, adding to the limited-edition feel of the kicks. Currently launching over in the US, as it stands there’s no information regarding a global release just yet, but make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier, as we’ll be sharing more details as soon as they become available.
