Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 White Blue

Penny Hardaway's second signature basketball sneaker, the Air Penny 2, hasn't seen light since its last retro in 2016. The 1996-born shoe was re-introduced to the masses recently through a collaboration with Stüssy. Now, James Whitner's premium fashion and footwear boutique Social Status is taking the model under their roof for a makeover. The latest Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 White Blue colourway arrives with a construction composed of leather and suede materials.

Unlike its counterparts with a predominantly black upper, this pair opts for a clean mix of blue, beige, and white. In addition, this Social Status x Air Max Penny 2 doesn't come with removable Swoosh logos like their initial Air Max Penny 1 design. However, co-branding details appear on the ankle pods in the form of Social Status and Nike's signature logos combined. Extra Swooshes are added to the rear and a visible Nike Air unit beneath the heel completes this covetable collaboration.
