Song For The Mute Drops Fresh adidas Superstars And Adistar Cushions

Song For The Mute and adidas are set to continue their growing partnership this March with the launch of six new sneakers. The collection includes three fresh Adistar Cushion colourways and three revamped Superstar 82s.

Since 2022, the collaboration between Song For The Mute and adidas has delivered an impressive array of footwear. While the Australian brand may not yet carry the same buzz as collaborators like Wales Bonner, JJJJound, or CLOT, its track record suggests it’s on a steady path toward joining that elite tier of Three Stripes partners.

The upcoming capsule kicks off with three new Adistar Cushion iterations, a natural follow up to the brand’s late 2024 release. The trio arrives in militaristic hues of tan, black, and olive green, featuring premium suede overlays paired with chenille fabric stripes for a textural twist.

The collection also spotlights the Superstar 82, a silhouette reimagined exclusively for Song For The Mute. This version features a deconstructed heel design and additional eyelets cut directly from the rubber shell toe. The colourways: white, brown, and black; boast mixed media sidewalls crafted from a combination of leathers and suedes. Signature details like small SFTM tags on the lateral heel and oversized co branded tongue tags further distinguish the sneakers.

While exact release dates are yet to be confirmed, all six sneakers are expected to debut in March 2025 via the Song For The Mute website and adidas.com.
