Not only does the UBIQ x adidas Consortium Crazy BYW 2.0 X have the longest name of any sneaker this year, it's also got a crazy design that is sure to turn heads. Inspired by the idea of Sister Cities, this pair is an homage to the sneaker boutique's hometown of Philadelphia and Georgetown and their Sister Cities of Incheon and Seoul, and here's what you need to know.
Taking on the mid-top basketball silhouette, this Crazy BYW 2.0 X works on a clean white base with mesh and leather making up the upper and a ton of reflective detailing scattered throughout. Bright green accents grace the toggle lacing system, and down below, you'll find an extra chunky Boost midsole that's lined with a complementary rubber outsole for a contrast that is as eye-catching as it gets.
As mentioned before, UBIQ's latest collab is inspired by South Korea, so they've applied Korean typography all over the neoprene sockliner. You'll also find a yin yang-style print along the insole, painted in blue and red to represent the traditional Korean Obangsaek colour palette.
Set to drop on November 29th, the UBIQ x adidas Consortium Crazy BYW 2.0 X might not be for everyone but it doesn't detract from how fire the design is. Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair, and stayed tune at The Sole Supplier for the hottest sneaker news and releases.
