The Nike React Presto is one of the hottest hybrids of the year. Taking the cult classic silhouette and giving it a contemporary makeover, the shoe is unlike anything else out there. Now, the Swoosh has teamed up with lettering artist and designer Terence Tang to reimagine the sneaker in hope to spread a message of compassion and acceptance.
Designed around Tang's HumanKIND Project, the React Presto features a clean white mesh upper with gold caging for added support and stability. Turquoise detailing graces the laces and heel, while a fully blacked out React foam midsole sits down below, providing comfort and cushioning that's truly next level.
Every single colour comes together to form the perfect contrast, but they also have a deeper meaning. White symbolises peace, while gold and turquoise represent compassion and acceptance, respectively. Rounding it all off is black, which stands for humility, reminding that we need to embrace our differences.
While the Nike React Presto 'HumanKIND' pretty much sold out immediately, it's projects like these that make the world a better place. Let us know what you think of this sneaker, and make sure you check out Terence Tang's Instagram for more great content!
