SS18's Must Have Accessory: The Belt Bag

I'm sure that we can all agree that bum bags didn't used to be associated with the coolest of things, yet most of us will have probably used one at some point or another.  They were popular in the 80's, multi coloured and neon. In more recent years, festival accessories - not even cute for the most part, just handy. They were simply the best way to keep hold of all of your stuff while not having to care about: a) it slipping off or cutting into your shoulder all day or b) falling out of your pockets while you're busy having fun.

The bum bags that we knew were usually just the standard multi zip handy bag. Now, the Belt Bag is more fashionable than ever. It has transformed from "this is the most convenient way to carry my personal items"; to "this accessory makes my whole outfit";. Fashion houses such as Gucci, Prada and Balenciaga have brought out these belt bags which have been circulating since last summer. This season, they are making even more waves, being worn by celebrities and being sold in more shops… we are into it.
