As the Air Jordan 1 is probably one of the most legendary sneaker silhouettes of all time you might imagine that footwear designers might be afraid to tamper with such an epic sneaker, however that definitely isn’t the case when it comes to the Air Jordan 1 LV8D “Tan”. Throwing an exaggerated sole unit into the mix totally transforms the look of the AJ1, as we first saw a glimpse of this updated model in a “Bred” colourway last month.
Marketed towards the more fashion-conscious AJ1 fan, the LV8D still showcases many of the iconic characteristics that make the silhouette so desirable, including premium leather panelling across the uppers and a perforated to box.
Nike’s signature Swoosh logo appears on both the lateral and medial sides, as well as the silhouette of the wings logo stitched onto the heel. The colourway combines a muted-tan tone with clean white to make for an understated yet excellent aesthetic that will no doubt match perfectly with the rest of your wardrobe. The look is completed by the hugely exaggerated midsole of course, that will provide the wearer with some extra height whether they like it or not!
If you’re liking the look of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 LV8D, then you’ll have to stay tuned for a little longer just yet, as we’re yet to receive an official announcement. In the meantime keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest news and updates in the sneaker world, and while you’re here check out how the TSS team have styled their very own Air Max 1s!
