Stone Island Launches Its Latest Selection of Heat Reactive Outerwear for SS22

After offering a specialised edge with Cupro Nylon additions last week, Stone Island is back and this time looks to further its range of technical garments. In this latest capsule, we see Stone Island add to its previous selection of heat-reactive garments with two hooded nylon jackets.

For those unfamiliar with Stone Island's heat reactive pieces, they're made from thermosensitive material that reacts to changes in temperature. This means your jacket will change both colour and appearance depending on its climate, thanks to sensitive micro-encapsulated coloured pigments.

Within this capsule, we see two further iterations that utilise this same technology. Both pieces arrive with ultra-light nylon fabric construction, emboldened by polyurethane, stretch linen and cotton tela. Each piece showcases a classic form, with a frontal zip closure leading to a high neck collar.

Two signature hues are featured in the form of bright yellow and bright blue, ideal for spring/summer wear. The yellow hue will change pigment to a darker orange, whilst the blue will change to a different bluette shade.
