After opening stores in both Milan and Berlin last year, it seems Supreme is keen on replicating the same levels of retail success in 2022. According to reports, Supreme will be opening yet another brick and mortar location in West Hollywood, leaving some excited and many locals apprehensive.
The world-renowned streetwear imprint already boasts a wealth of locations across the world including LA, San Francisco, New York, Brooklyn, London, Paris, Milan and Berlin, but this latest store will be situated in the former Tower Records building on Sunset Boulevard.
Naturally, given the affluent status of the neighbourhood, some residents have expressed their concerns regarding the store's new location. As we've all seen in the past, Supreme locations around the world have previously played host to large crowds, some of which even have even camped outside the store for days.
To give credit to Supreme there has been a crackdown on the loitering aspect over the last few years, yet residents still have expressed their concerns to the degree where a meeting had to be organised. With Supreme’s Senior Vice President West Rubinstein present, locals got to voice their worries and it was confirmed that the store would not cause disruption or disturbances.
Construction is set to start for the store by March and completion is expected by August. In other news, Palace x Brixton's Baddest launch a skate-fulled collaboration.
