After delivering an art-fuelled collection alongside Mark Leckey earlier this month, Supreme is back once again to continue its Fall 2023 efforts. This time around, the New York-born streetwear imprint has tapped Japanese brand Bounty Hunter to deliver an extensive range of both apparel and accessories.
For those unfamiliar with Bounty Hunter, it's a Japanese clothing and toy brand established in Tokyo by Hikaru Iwanaga in 1995. Growing up on a Navy base, Iwanaga experienced a profound cultural shift following WWII, which sparked his love for American consumer products and popular media.
The collaboration itself heavily builds upon Americana styles, with varsity and bomber jackets featured alongside moto jerseys, sweaters, shirts, and much more. Naturally, the standouts from the collection arrive in the form of the jackets. The varsity jackets featured heavy embroidery with a number of skull and crossbones designs and patches. Its MA-1 bomber counterpart instead opts for a more text-based approach to graphics.
In addition to the apparel, a number of accessories are included, with a silver ring designed by The Great Frog being a key feature. For those looking to get their hands on the Supreme x Bounty Hunter collaboration, it will launch this Thursday, both in-store and online. In other fashion news, Nike NOCTA becomes the latest label to embrace the running trend.
