Following the release of the KAWS Chalk Box Logo T-Shirt last week, Supreme is continuing with their spring/summer campaign this week with a Supreme x Butthole Surfers collection. The capsule features an array of artwork from the band's storied musical history set across a variety of familiar Supreme silhouettes.
For the unfamiliar, Butthole Surfers are an experimental American rock band that has been active since 1981. Known for their unorthodox sound which includes elements of noise rock, punk and even psychedelia, the band have gained a loyal following since their inception 40 years ago.
With 40 years of music comes 40 years of artwork, and Supreme has selected key designs to be emblazoned across this selection of apparel. Artwork from their EPs and albums Powerless, Rembrandt Pussyhorse and Another Man’s Sac and more, all grace a selection of shirts, hoodies and T-Shirts in a number of colourful hues.
The collection is set to drop on July 1st at 11am GMT and will be available both online and instore. Like any Supreme drop, we're guessing this one will be a tough cop so make sure you have your fasted finger ready! In other news, the PLEASURES summer 2021 collection is a warm weather triumph.
