Fresh off the heels of its latest collaboration with The North Face, New York skatewear imprint Supreme is back, and this time looking to embrace its home city's grassroots hip-hop scene. For FW22, Supreme x Duck Down Records have joined forces to produce a small capsule collection featuring a selection of wardrobe staples.
For those unfamiliar with Duck Down Records, it is a New York-based record label responsible for putting some of East Coast hip-hop's most revered records on the map. Founded by Drew “Dru-Ha” Friedman and Kenyatta “Buckshot” Blake in 1995, Duck Down Records bought us seminal albums such as Black Moon's Enta da Stage, solidifying its place in hip-hop history.
The collection itself is simply made up of a select handful of wardrobe staples. Included we see a hoodie, two separate T-Shirt iterations and a beanie, each of which arrives in a selection of hues. Duck Down's distinctive logo arrives throughout, alongside artwork from Enta da Stage and Dah Shinin’.
For hip-hop fans looking to get their hands on this Duck Down Records x Supreme capsule collection, it will launch this Thursday, the 20th of October, both in-store and online. In other fashion news, Represent readies its outdoor-focused 247 Explore collection.
