Supreme is paying tribute to the late Daniel Johnston for their latest collaboration of the Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Passing away in September of last year, the Austin native was renowned for his unique artwork and musical talent that drew influence from his schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
With his artwork featuring heavily across every single piece, this collection is quintessential Johnston. Jeremiah the Innocent, the frog seen across many pieces, was originally seen on the album Hi How Are You. Utilised across a pair of long-sleeve plaid shirts, work pants, T-shirts, and beanies, these pieces will be considered by many as the highlights of the collection.
Outside of honouring his musical talents, Supreme has also opted to showcase his comic book Space Ducks – An Infinite Comic Book of Musical Greatness and his illustration The Silver Sufferer. Making appearances across hoodies and t-shirts, these illustrations also feature on a bold rayon shirt as well as embroidered work jackets.
Launching at Supreme on May 14 at 11 AM GMT, these pieces will be gone within seconds, so ensure you are up and ready to cop the Daniel Johnston x Supreme Collection. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for all of the best news and releases from the streetwear community.
