The Air Jordan 1 is not afraid of breaking the rules. Ever since it debuted as a basketball silhouette in 1985, it has evolved in various ways, such as the SP Utility that just surfaced online. On that note, sneakerheads are no stranger to seeing Michael Jordan's AJ1 either! So here we have the all-new Air Jordan 1 High SP Utility "Shadow Black", and here's everything you need to know!
Unlike the standard Jordan 1 that features premium leather panels, this new iteration sees a utilitarian makeover. The overlays from heel to toe are made with waterproof material, including the toe boxes with half-done perforations to ensure water does not get through.
The classic Nike and Jordan branding details that designer Peter Moore put in place are still present: sidewall Swoosh logos and MJ's famous Wing emblem. Adding further to the military-esque outfit are the midfoot walls that come with pouches that are almost unnoticeable due to the shoe's blacked-out scheme. Adding contrasting touches to the setup is the Infrared-marked tabs.
