This is probably the millionth time adidas have used the 'Trace Khaki' moniker for the name of a colourway, however, it's the first time it's ever been used on an adidas Originals NMD R2 silhouette.
Taking a little break from the R1, The Brand With The Three Stripes has outfitted the second generation Runner with an extremely subdued aesthetic.
Painted in a shade of beige with a trio of light brown stripes running down the side panel, this Nomad is constructed from a breathable mesh material that looks a little different compared to conventional mesh silhouettes.
Black accents are present on the shoe's heel tab and EVA plug, and a dash of luxury is added to the shoe through a suede heel piece.
Like all NMD models, the 'Trace Khaki' rests on top of a Boost midsole which provides wearers with an extra bit of comfort, and the shoe is finished off with a durable gum outsole which complements the upper very nicely.
The adidas Originals NMD R2 'Trace Khaki' will definitely not be everyone's cup of tea.
Its subdued looks and simple colourway may put some sneakerheads off, but if you're interested in copping yourself a pair, the 'Trace Khaki' will be hitting shelves some time in October.
