Ever since the Yeezy Knit Runner was introduced back in September only one colourway has dropped. Now, as we reach five months after the silhouette's debut it looks like another one could be on the horizon in the form of the Yeezy Knit Runner "Stone Carbon" - and we're now taking a sneak peek!
First leaked in November, the "Stone Carbon" has gone through some very subtle re-designs. Basically a Foam Runner but with a fabric upper that wraps around the entire shoe, this Yeezy features a full EVA foam base which makes it one of the most comfortable pairs you can buy. The bottom two-thirds of the shoe are painted in a dark charcoal hue, while the top is dipped in a bright orange. Previous mock-ups showed this as a bold yellow similar to the "Sulfur", but it looks like the retail pair will tweak this slightly.
Underneath this all is a ridged outsole for added traction with every step, and around the heel you'll find the size of shoe in US sizes. This is usually done with early adidas samples but it looks like it's been carried through for a work in progress-inspired aesthetic that's been all the rage these days.
Expected to drop sometime in February, the adidas Yeezy KNIT RNR "Stone Carbon" is definitely a lot more wearable than the first colourway. Let us know what you think of this upcoming release, and in related news, the Yeezy Foam Runner "Navy" just surfaced out of the blue!
