Paying homage to the Swoosh logo we all know and love, the Nike Dunk High “First Use” Pack has been unveiled over the past several months, with the first Dunk from the pack revealed last month. Now, Nike has previewed yet another pair of Dunk High’s from the pack and this time around they’re decked out in a vibrant “University Red” colourway.
The Swoosh logo was conceived back in 1971 by Carolyn Davison, who was a graphic design student at Portland State University. While initially Davison was only paid a small sum for her work, after the company realised their success, she was given a large amount of money as gratitude and also landed a job at Nike.
Crafted from premium suede and leather throughout, these Dunks are littered with details which make them a stand-out pair. The Swoosh logo appears in an outlined white form on both the lateral and medial sides, along with “first use” text referencing the story behind the pack. Gold-tone metal Swoosh lace dubraes make an appearance along with vintage logo branding at the tongues for a switch-up compared to GR Dunks.
This is all placed on top of a white midsole and red outsole unit that conceals full-length Nike Air cushioning to ensure comfort at all times. If you’re looking to cop these high-end Dunks, the Nike Dunk High “First Use/University Red” is rumoured to release on June 18th alongside its counterpart, so keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest.
