Teddy Santis Officially Unveils the New Balance 990v6

Aime Leon Dore head-honcho Teddy Santis has been in the good books over at New Balance for a while now. After several highly-successful collaborations with his NYC-based brand, and earlier on this year he was even made Creative Director over at the legendary footwear label, so it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about sneakers. For the first time ever we’ve now taken a peek at the latest variant of the popular New Balance 990, via Teddy’s Instagram account.

Following on from the v5 which launched back in 2019, the New Balance 990v6 offers an updated take on the well-loved silhouette and draws inspiration from other popular NB silhouettes. The brand has been having what can only be described as "a bit of a moment" lately, with high-heat collaborations selling-out instantly and reselling for sometimes triple the original retail price!

The team over at New Balance seem to have taken this on-board, as there’s no doubt that this updated take on the 990v6 borrows elements from the NB992, which has shot to fame in the last year or so. The new pair is seen here in the classic grey colourway which is almost synonymous with New Balance, and we have to say it sits perfectly on the new silhouette.

As of yet this is all we know, but expect an official announcement soon from the team over at New Balance.
