As Aimé Leon Dore continues to dominate the streetwear scene, founder Teddy Santis has turned his attention back to his New Balance collection, as he continues his tenure as Creative Director of the brand’s Made in USA line. After the success of the last collection, Santis remains to focus on cosy staples, although this time he introduces a more autumnal colour palette for the colder months ahead.
With the 40th anniversary of the original 990 silhouette fast approaching, the accompanying footwear offering sees Santis continue to concentrate on the 990v1, v2 and v3 models. Though we’ve seen both neutral and brightly coloured options, the upcoming iterations pictured here arrive in olive, grey and beige tones, matching the earthy browns, creams and greens of the apparel collection.
Speaking on behalf of the collection, Senior Product Manager Mike Meloski said: “The team is excited to introduce Season Two of our Made in USA seasonal collection with Teddy Santis as our Creative Director. This collection is inspired by the beauty of nature and our favorite outdoor activities and gear. The content illustrates the inspiration for the range and the craftsmanship that goes into the footwear and apparel.”
The collection is set to drop on the 9th October at New Balance, with a wider release planned for the 27th. If you’re looking to cop something then be sure to set your release reminders and keep it locked for more info and images as it come in!
In related news, Santis lines up his next ALD x New Balance 650R collab.
