Without a shadow of a doubt, October 2019 has been one of the most varied months when it comes to high heat releases. Stuffed with a number of long awaited sneakers from big names such as Pharrell Williams, Chitose Abe, and Travis Scott, we also got a bunch of collaborations that literally came out of nowhere and quickly made it the top of our 'To Cop' lists.
With all that said, we've done the hard task of hand picking the ten hottest sneaker releases. If, like many of us, you missed out on any of these, make sure you follow @thesolerestocks over on Twitter for the latest and greatest trainer restocks!
Human Made x adidas NMD Hu 'Love Pack' After almost a year of waiting, the Human Made x adidas NMD Hu 'Love Pack' finally dropped on October 5th, and it was definitely worth the wait. A shoe that we exclusively leaked at the end of 2018, this is the first Human Race sneaker to be made in collaboration with Human Made, so they're naturally pretty hyped.
sacai x Nike Blazer Mid 'Black' Delays didn't stop the sacai x Nike Blazer Mid 'Black' from being one of the fastest selling sneakers of 2019. Launched on October 10th, it serves as Chitose Abe's latest collab with Nike, and some sneakerheads are even calling it her best. Taking hybrid sneakers to another level, everything from the Swooshes to the midsoles have been doubled up.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 'Cactus Jack' The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 'Cactus Jack' is arguably one of the hottest sneakers of the year, never mind just the month. Hitting shelves on October 11th, we've been waiting for these to drop for as long as we can remember, and they certainly didn't disappoint. Dressed in La Flame's signature military colour scheme, what's there not to love?
When the The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 'Manchester' launched on October 12th, we knew right away that it was an instacop. Oozing with roadman vibes, the all black shoe is crafted from Cordura material, making them ideal for the wet and windy season. To add to this, reflective accents at the tongue make the perfect for those dark days.
The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 'London' Just one week later we were treated to the The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 'London' on October 19th, and it too was a must cop. Painted in various shades of grey, the main feature of this AM90 is the interchangeable Swooshes, letting sneakerheads switch up their look however they like.
Nike Air Force 1 'Skeleton' On October 25th, things got a little spooky over at Nike HQ as they released the Nike Air Force 1 'Skeleton'. Perfect for Halloween, a foot x-ray graphic is printed across the side panels for a creepy vibe. This is then rounded off with a bright green rubber outsole that actually glows in the dark once the lights are turned down.
Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard 3.0' The hotly anticipated Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard 3.0' finally dropped on October 26th, and even though it was filled to the brim with controversy, especially due to its wrinkled patent leather construction, that didn't stop it from selling out pretty quickly. Featuring the classic colour blocked look, a 'Starfish' midsole gives it vintage vibes.
undefined LeBron James took the industry by storm when he dropped the Uninterrupted x Nike Air Force 1 'Racer Blue' on October 26th. Releasing under his athlete exclusive social platform, he encourages sneakerheads to customise the shoes and use it as a literal canvas. In fact, there's two Sharpies in the box for you to do this.
Yeezy 700 'Teal Blue' One of the only Yeezys to drop this month, the Yeezy 700 'Teal Blue' graces collections on October 26th as well, selling out in an instant. Serving as the fourth blue 700 to drop this year along, it's an incredible mixture of blue an grey tones. Interestingly enough, this is the first Kanye West sneaker ever to come with an extra pair of laces.
Nike SB Dunk Low 'Night Of Mischief' And last but not least, we have the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Night Of Mischief'. Appropriately releasing on October 31st, it gives the much-loved skateboarding silhouette and frightening makeover that's sure to turn heads this Halloween. The main feature has got to be the perforations at the toe box that take the shape of a jack-o-lantern's smile.
