Anthony Edwards’ debut signature sneaker with adidas continues to make waves, earning high rankings on numerous “Shoe of the Year” lists within the sneaker community. Naturally, this leaves fans eagerly anticipating what adidas has planned for the follow up. While official details on the Anthony Edwards 2 remain under wraps, adidas has kept the excitement alive with a steady stream of AE1 releases to tide us over.
The latest addition? The adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Stormtrooper,” set to drop on 1st February 2025, according to retailer calendars. This clean low top iteration offers a fresh take on the “Stormtrooper” colourway, originally introduced in early 2024, and is poised to hit shelves just in time for the Spring 2025 shopping season.
Official images reveal a striking design: a white TPU cage paired with a black Primeknit interior and a reflective silver toe. The AE 1 Low features a black inner bootie encased in crisp white overlays, creating a bold visual contrast.
While the mid top “Stormtrooper” (also known as “Best of Adi”) incorporated light green accents on the heel stripes and tongue branding, the low top version opts for a darker, more dramatic vibe with red detailing, adding a touch of Sith Lord inspired flair.
The Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Stormtrooper” is set to drop at £100 and will be available through adidas and select retailers. Stay tuned to The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker updates.
