The adidas Gazelle Just Got Bolder

As far as classic sneakers go, the adidas Gazelle usually remains pretty low-key, but 2022 saw the silhouette get its fair share of the spotlight. The model of choice for the 3-Stripes’ super-luxe collaboration with Gucci, it played a huge part in a number of this year’s key sneaker trends: high-low collabs, retro kicks and blokecore. Now, the style has received an update that allows it to tick yet another box, as platform-soled versions have just landed in the form of the adidas Gazelle Bold.

The Gazelle Bold is a women’s-exclusive silhouette that gives the staple terrace style a fun, feminine touch. Suede uppers in a choice of neutral or bright colours stay true to the silhouette’s original makeup, and serrated 3-Stripe details at the sidewalls add an extra pop of contrast. We’re loving the bright and bold nature of the “Mint/Pink” and “Pink/Blue” colourways, which come complete with stacked gum soles and are reminiscent of some of the Gucci versions from the duo’s collab earlier this year.

For those who prefer a more toned-down approach, the pairs are also available in classic grey, black and pink, with classic white stripes offering an easy-to-style option. These pairs feature a triple-stacked white sole for a bold finish. Finally, metallic gold detailing adds the perfect finishing touch.
