The adidas Golf Codechaos PRIMEBLUE is the PGA's First Sustainable Shoe

The PGA Player’s Championship tees off this week and adidas Golf is releasing a new Codechaos PRIMEBLUE in collaboration with Parley, just in time for the big sporting event. Each shoe is made of over 70% high-performance recycled polyester that doesn’t sacrifice on functionality and comes in a super-sporty aesthetic.

The upper on this shoe is crafted from knit that hugs your foot perfectly to create a glove-like fit. Flexible enough to move with you, the upper is interwoven with tonal blue threads that nod to Parley’s mission to protect the world’s oceans. Branding comes in the form of adidas’s signature three-stripe graphic to the side and PRIMEBLUE text can be found on the tongue. A pull tab is added to the heel to make them effortless to get on and off and BOOST cushioning is added to deliver on comfort. Finished with a textured tread that delivers grip on and off the course, these ultra-sustainable sneakers cover every base.

Dropping alongside the sneakers is a range of clothing. Two polos and shorts make up the men’s range and a sleeveless polo and “skort” is for the women. Each and every piece in the collection gravitates towards a blue hue to pay homage to the world’s oceans.
