Ever since the pandemic, house shoes have really managed to carve out a lane of their own. Back in 2020, while we were stuck in our houses, Yeezy slides became a rotation essential, and since then, the market for cosy and comfortable styles has grown and grown. Out of this development, we’ve seen shoes like The North Face Thermoball and the New Balance 2002R Mule come to the forefront, and brands like adidas have built on their slide offering in order to compete with new comfortable creations: the adidas Originals Puffylette being one of the clear winners.
Adding to the style’s release roster, the 3-Stripes has looked to highlight its heritage, by combining the new-ish silhouette with some of its most recognisable designs. As a result, the insulted shoe will come printed to mimic a Samba, Stan Smith, Forum and Superstar, allowing you to wear your favourite classic adidas style indoors, without getting your floors dirty.
Each pair comes constructed with water-repellent, rip-stop uppers, which are insulated with PrimaLoft insulation for added warmth. Underfoot, the style features an EVA midsole (just in case you wanted to wear them outdoors) that’s also been designed to mimic the corresponding sneaker.
The pairs are set to drop at select overseas retailers on the 26th of November, but be sure to stay locked for more info surrounding a UK release.
In other news, Sean Wotherspoon shares a look at his upcoming adidas collabs.
