As we reach the autumn months, Gary Aspden and the Three Stripes have reunited for the adidas Spezial Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection. Diving straight into the archives, the terrace-inspired range is the perfect combination of classic and contemporary.
Led by the HRMNY SPZL, the silhouette itself is based on the Harmony and was originally a women's shoe that has been reworked with a wider fit. Famous amongst German football fans, the OG palette and materials have been fully reworked for an extremely versatile and ultra premium fit and finish. Next stop, the Newrad SPZL is a fresh lifestyle trainer that's infused with Bermuda tooling and branded with an embossed "Mod Trefoil" patch on the lateral side.
Of course, you can't talk about this seasonal range without mentioning the Alderley SPZL. A brand new hybrid that's been influenced by the Rod Laver Vintage, Spezial fans will immediately notice the distinctive perforated leather toe. Last but not least, Aspden has added a pair of adidas adilette slides for those extra chill days, complete with debossed Mod Trefoil relief and Spezial branding.
If you thought that was it you'd be dead wrong, as the apparel collection is chock full of goodness. From the Haslingden jacket that's been reintroduced to the ST11 that takes direct inspo from garments of the '70s and '80s, this has got to be one of the best Spezial clothing collections to date.
Expected to launch on September 18th, the adidas Spezial Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection shouldn't be missed, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop! Let us know what you think of the full range, and while you're here, you might as well take a sneak peek at the Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD Hu "Extra Eye" Pack!
