While the Ultra Boost made its debut in February 2015, it didn't shoot up to superstardom until May of the year when Kanye West wore the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 "Triple White" during a concert. Almost immediately, the running silhouette began selling out everywhere with resale prices doubling or even tripling in some cases. Now, half a decade later, the Three Stripes is bringing back the icon, and here's what we know about the restock so far.
With a full Primeknit upper, the "Triple White" is dipped in an all-white palette that's literally as clean as it gets. Towards the lateral and medial sides, you'll find a matte cage that offers stability and support like nothing else out there. A design feature like this was unheard of back in '15, and five years later it's still the go-to choice for many runners out there.
Down below though is where all the magic happens. Infused with adidas' signature pebbled Boost technology, comfort and cushioning is far ahead of the competition. It's then lined with a hard-wearing Continental rubber outsole for durable traction with every step.
While the German giant has yet to officially confirm this comeback, retailers across Europe are already loading up the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 "Triple White" for a May 17th re-release, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops!
