The adidas ZX 5000 "The Miami University" Continues the A-ZX Series

Following the release of the Hey Tea ZX 7000, the Three Stripes is now continuing on with the A-ZX series with the brand new adidas ZX 5000 "The Miami University"! Made in collaboration with the prestigious North American college, this definitely isn't the first time they've been inspired by the Hurricanes, but it's certainly one of the best.

Taking on the classic ZX 5000 silhouette, the shoe itself is kept pretty minimal. Crafted from a combination of crisp leather and ballistic nylon, it's painted in a minimal "Triple White" palette that's as clean as it gets. Three Stripe branding is subtly stitched along the lateral and medial side panels, while the back is where the party starts.

Dipped in a metallic sheen, the left side of the electroplated TPU heel is done up in a bold orange hue while the right arrives in green as a nod to the school's signature colours. This vibrancy will slowly but surely wear off over time, meaning no two pairs will be exactly the same.

Set to drop on November 6th, the adidas ZX 5000 "The Miami University" is a pretty clean shoe for the autumn and winter season, but that doesn't stop it from being a cop.
