When the Air Jordan 1 High '85 "Georgetown" first leaked back in July of last year, we were beyond hyped. A one-to-one remake of the legendary "Georgetown Hoyas" sample that surfaced back in 1985, it's only taken about forty years for the iconic colourway to officially launch. With its release imminent, we're now taking our best look yet at the highly sought-after AJ1!
Taking its name and palette from the Georgetown University, this Air Jordan 1 is colourblocked to pure perfection. Featuring a light grey base, "College Navy" panels wrap around the heel, toebox, and lacing system, while clean cream accents adorn the laces and tongue for a vintage vibe. Wrapped in nothing but the most premium of leathers, this AJ1 also boasts the exact same shape as the OGs from the '80s.
A Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels and underfoot you'll find a crisp white Nike Air midsole. To round it all off, the signature winged basketball emblem is stamped on the ankle flaps, finalising the truly iconic design.
Rumour has it that the Nike Air Jordan 1 Hi 1985 "College Navy" will launch next month in February, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more info as it develops!
