The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Pollen" is Dropping This Summer

If there's one AJ1 that we're hoping to cop this year, it's the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Pollen". A colourway that was first leaked in the middle of last year, we're now getting our first look at the Wu-Tang-influenced pair, and we think it could just be one of the best pairs in the silhouette's four decade-long history.

While these are just very early mock-ups for now, they give us a good idea of what the "Pollen" is going to look like. Crafted from smooth premium leather, the base is painted in a stark black while the rest of the Air Jordan 1 is covered in bold yellow tones for a contrast that is sure to turn heads. If you're feeling a little déjà vu, it's probably because they look a lot like the Dunk High "Varsity Maize" that dropped in December.

A Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial sides, while the iconic winged basketball emblem is finely stamped across the collar. Rounding it all off is a crispy clean white Nike Air midsole that offers comfort and cushioning on another level.

Now for that all-important release date. While this may change depending on the pandemic situation over the summer, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG "Pollen" is expected to drop on August 21st.
