Earlier this year, the sneaker scene was shaken up by the release of the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 that came in an eye-watering £1800. Since the launch, Nike has dropped a range of similarly hued Jordans that are more affordable and more accessible but no less stylish – and the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Elephant’ is next in line. Donning the popular white and grey colourway, this sneaker is sure to be just as popular as its luxury counterpart.
Much like the OG AJ1, the upper on this sneaker is crafted from smooth leather and perforations are scattered across the toe box to enhance the shoe’s breathability. The panels holding down the laces are detailed with Nike’s famous elephant/cement texture and the Swoosh on the medial and lateral sides follows suit. Michael Jordan’s iconic Jumpman logo sits on the tongue, complemented by his on-court number, 23, on the laces. Of course, the sole is fitted with Nike’s Air unit that delivers optimised comfort and stability and the heel is expertly finessed with the Jordan Brand ‘Wings’ logo.
No release date has yet been announced for the Air Jordan 1 Low Grey ‘Elephant’, but they could surprise us! So keep it locked into The Sole Supplier to be the first to know more about this drop and make sure you don’t miss a thing by turning the release reminders on in our app!
